Water Recirculation Systems

Water Recirculation Systems

Dishwasher systems, garbage systems, HVAC systems and water heating systems that supply running hot water in all your sinks and the showers, are a few common appliances that utilize water re-circulation.

What are Water Recirculation Systems?

One type of home comfort system is the water recirculation system. It is made up of a water heater, a hot water pump and a network of pipes for the transportation of hot water to various outlets in the home. A circulation pump ensures a constant supply of hot water on demand on all the faucets in the home.

When a hot water faucet is turned off, the remaining water cools in the pipe and the next time the faucet is turned on, water will need to run for a while before the supply of hot water can reach the tap once more from the heater. A recirculation pump maintains a constant flow of hot water through the network of pipes from the heater to the outlets so that this delay does not occur. A thermostat enables the homeowner to control the temperature of the hot water, thereby conserving energy in the process.

Hot Water Recirculation System Problems

Some of the problems that a recirculation system may develop are leaky pipes, lukewarm or cold water due to a malfunctioning pump or heater, high utility bills due to inefficient heating and water accumulation.

Our expert plumbing technicians are qualified to diagnose the problem and conduct repairs accordingly. If the pumps for water heaters need to be replaced, we supply units of the highest quality, but you also have the option to do so instead, and we will carry out the installation.
